If you are looking for something to do this Sunday, why not participate in the Murray River Trail Running Festival Fun Run? This year will be the fourth annual event which raises money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
It is a great local event to promote healthy living while at the same time raising money for a valuable cause. (So far the annual events have raised over $10,000 for JDRF!) The weather is looking to be a lovely 29 degrees, so why not get out and enjoy our beautiful Murraylands!
You can choose to participate in a 5km walk or run, a 10km run, or a half-marathon.
Starting at Sturt Reserve, there will be a race briefing for the half marathon runners at 8.20am and shortly after they will depart at 8.30am. The 5km and 10km participants will do a warm-up at 8.30am followed by a briefing, and they will then depart at 9.00am.
The cost to participate in the half marathon will be $20 while the 5km and 10km events will be $10.00.
