Professionals Murray Bridge has been pleased to see work begin on the much anticipated redevelopment of Murray Bridge’s main street.
The city council has appointed planners to draw up detailed concept plans with the aim of transforming the Bridge and Sixth street precincts into: “an exciting, viable, activated and vibrant destination for locals and visitors.”
According to the Murray Valley Standard if councilors agree to allocate funding to the project in the council’s upcoming budget, practical work could begin early next year.
The Professionals hope that local companies get opportunity to quote and compete on all aspects of the redevelopments, as this keeps employment local and has a flow-on effect across the whole Murraylands economy.
