murraybridge The exciting whispers are true! The Government’s Housing Construction Grant which was due to expire at the end of this month has been extended until the end of this year.
The Premier will dedicate $38.7 million in the State Budget to continue the grant, and hopefully further stimulate the Construction segment. The extension takes the cut-off date for this grant to the 31st of December 2013.
You are eligible to receive up to $8,500 for the Housing Construction Grant whether it is your first build, or if you have built previously. For first home owners, this grant is additional to the First Home Owner’s Grant, so you could be eligible for up to $23,500.00 in subsidies.
Now is the ideal time to find that perfect block of land, and build the home that you have always wanted.
